Avery Kentis


Avery Kentis is a composer, who has scored short and feature length films that have become notable film festival winners on the national and international circuits.

Avery began scoring films out of college by collaborating on student films and indies. He attended UCLA as part of the Film Scoring Program and has studied with composers/orchestrators such as Cameron Patrick (Star Trek Into Darkness, Jurassic World), Charles Fernandez (The Butterfly Effect, Robot Chicken), and Thom Sharp (Winnie the Pooh, Bridge to Terabithia). He is a multi-instrumentalist and plays piano, drums, synthesizer, marimba, and world percussion.
